Class Description
Foundational, required training to serve as a Parish-Based Mental Health Minister.
Teaches five core practices:
- Welcome the Stranger
- Holy Listening
- Companion on the Journey
- Self-Care
- Awareness of self, the other, and The Divine.
Four sessions focusing on the Art & Practice of Accompanying Another as a Mental Health Minister.
We ask you to commit to all four sessions. You will also be asked to commit to 30 minutes before each session to read, reflect, and write.
Total Duration: 8 hours
This is a fully online Zoom class.
